Itentio IT Recruitment
We are partnered with a fully remote data infrastructure startup operating at genuine global scale. They build and operate one of the world’s largest residential proxy networks, alongside managed APIs for large-scale web scraping and AI-powered automation tools for data collection and processing. Their Monetization SDK powers millions of users across desktop, mobile, and smart TV platforms worldwide — enabling app developers to offer users an alternative to ads or paywalls by sharing small amounts of unused computing resources. Backed by serial entrepreneurs with a track record of multiple venture-backed exits, they are now looking for a Senior Full Stack Go Engineer (Backend-Heavy) to join their product engineering team, fully remote from Poland or the EU.
Whom are we looking for – Senior Full Stack Go Engineer (Backend-Heavy)
Location: Poland or EU, remote work mode
Brief position description
You will be building the product layer that turns raw global infrastructure into something partners actually use – the APIs they call, the dashboards they log into, the billing systems that invoice them. You will own features end-to-end: from PostgreSQL schema design and Go backend implementation through to the occasional React frontend change when that is the right move. The stack is Go, PostgreSQL, and React with TypeScript. The team is small, flat, and fully remote. The work reaches production fast and real users immediately.
If you are a Senior Full Stack Go Engineer who is comfortable owning the full slice of a feature – including the database, the API, and a frontend component when needed – and wants to do that inside a company operating infrastructure at global scale, this is the role.
Why is it worth joining this company?
- Product that sits on top of serious infrastructure. You are not building another SaaS dashboard in isolation. The partner portal, admin tooling, and billing systems you ship sit directly on top of a proxy network handling billions of requests. The context makes the product engineering work more interesting, not less.
- Real ownership in a remote-first culture. Small, flat team, no micromanagement, no bureaucracy. Strong ownership and async-first communication. Results matter – not hours logged or meetings attended.
- AI-forward by default. The team are early adopters and active users of LLMs and modern AI tooling – both in how they build and in what they ship. Agentic coding tools are part of the standard workflow.
- Proven foundation, startup velocity. Serial entrepreneurs with multiple venture-backed exits behind the company. Your work ships fast and reaches real users immediately — no six-month release cycles.
Senior Full Stack Go Engineer – Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Go backend services powering company’s customer-facing and internal product surfaces – partner portal, admin dashboard, billing, and the APIs behind them.
- Design and ship REST APIs for both internal consumers (other company’s teams) and external customers (partners and integrators).
- Own features end-to-end — from Postgres schema design and Go implementation to the occasional frontend change (React + TypeScript + Tailwind) when a small dashboard tweak is the right move.
- Evolve the partner portal and admin tooling as new product capabilities ship – multi-tenant org/user management, usage views, and operations workflows.
- Contribute to billing and metering systems – usage tracking, invoicing, and integration with payment infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, infrastructure, SDK, data) to design systems that are reliable, observable, and easy to operate.
Senior Full Stack Go Engineer – Main requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer building production services.
- Solid command of Go – idiomatic concurrency, testing, and the standard library.
- Active user of Agentic coding tools.
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL fundamentals – schema design, query performance, migrations, and a healthy respect for the database as a system of record.
- Experience designing and shipping REST APIs that other teams or external customers depend on – versioning, error handling, and developer experience.
- Comfort across the stack – willing to make small frontend changes (React + TypeScript) when needed, even if frontend isn’t your primary domain.
- AWS familiarity – comfortable with the common managed services (Lambda, RDS, IAM, S3) and basic operational hygiene.
- Strong written communication and ability to take ownership of ambiguous problem spaces.
- Self-directed and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Stripe or other billing/payments providers – subscriptions, webhooks, usage-based pricing, dunning.
- Experience with multi-tenant systems and RBAC – partner orgs, role hierarchies, scoped permissions.
- Stronger frontend chops with React + TypeScript – willing to own a feature end-to-end when it makes sense.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures or message queues.
- Experience with observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics).
- Deeper AWS experience (ECS, Step Functions, EventBridge, etc.).
- Experience contributing to public APIs – versioning strategies, rate limiting, SDK/client considerations.
- Production on-call experience and incident response practice.
Senior Full Stack Go Engineer – What is in it for you?
- Competitive salary: $5,000-$8,000/month on B2B contract
- Equity incentive!
- Performance bonus: Up to 30% annual bonus, awarded in May based on company results and individual impact (eligible after 6 months working in the company).
- Fully Remote Setup – Work from anywhere in the EU time zone.
- Unlimited vacation and sick days (2 weeks’ notice).
- Continuous Learning Allowance ($50/month) – Courses, books, or workshops covered.
- Health & Wellness ($50/month) – For gym, fitness, or self-care.
- Health Insurance – Provided internationally.
- Access to the latest AI and agentic development tools as standard.
- A small, high-performing, low-process engineering team where your work reaches production fast and your technical opinions are heard.
