We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a small, high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will lead and manage the core hybrid infrastructure balancing on-premise hardware and cloud environments that handles billions of requests and huge data throughput.

Senior DevOps Engineer – Key Responsibilities
- Hybrid Infrastructure Leadership: Lead and maintain a resilient hybrid environment (on-premise and AWS cloud across multiple regions).
- Architecture & Deployment: Partner with developers and product managers to design, deploy, and optimize systems for new feature rollouts.
- CI/CD & Automation: Build and implement automated CI/CD strategies across hybrid environments to support rapid product cycles.
- Performance & Cost Optimization: Continually optimize cloud footprint and bare-metal nodes for cost efficiency, maximum throughput, and low latency.
- Observability & Reliability: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks, network issues, and security vulnerabilities using open-source observability frameworks.
- System Evolution: Scale and manage core data engines like PostgreSQL while maintaining clear infrastructure-as-code and documentation.
Senior DevOps Engineer – Main requirements
- 5+ years of total DevOps/Infrastructure experience, with at least 2+ years actively managing on-premise or hybrid cloud environments.
- Multi-regional Architecture: Proven expertise in managing distributed, multi-region setups and Linux system administration.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Cloud & Containers: Strong expertise in AWS (scaling, resiliency, cost optimization) and hands-on experience setting up and managing Kubernetes.
- Databases & Observability: Hands-on experience scaling PostgreSQL and leveraging open-source observability suites.
- Startup Mindset: Self-driven, comfortable building systems from scratch, and thrive in low-process, high-ownership environments.
- Communication: Professional fluency in English (working language).
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with high-concurrency proxy networks or scraping pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with ClickHouse or OpenTelemetry-based observability systems.
- Active contributions to open-source software, technical writing, or personal systems projects.
