Location: 100% Remote (Poland-based)
About the Company and the Position
Our client is building a high-reliability, AI-first application focused on long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion. The system handles multi-step reasoning, interacts with external tools, and remains robust despite non-deterministic model behavior. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer, AI Systems to design how agents operate, fail, recover, and deliver consistent value to users — end to end, across frontend, backend, and AI integrations. This is not a glue-code role. You will own features from idea to production, working at the intersection of product, infrastructure, and AI.

Senior Full Stack Engineer, AI Systems – Key Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end product features: Own and ship features across frontend, backend, and AI integrations from idea through to production.
- Design agent workflows: Architect multi-step agent workflows that handle planning, tool use, failure, and recovery reliably under real-world conditions.
- Integrate AI into product systems: Connect LLMs, memory, and external tools into systems that behave predictably and reliably at scale.
- Design real-time AI interactions: Build streaming interfaces, handle partial results, and meet tight latency constraints in production AI-powered flows.
- Drive reliability and observability: Continuously improve system reliability, fallback mechanisms, monitoring, and recovery patterns across the stack.
- Iterate from real usage: Use production signals and failure modes to drive measurable improvements in AI workflow success rates.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with ML, backend, and product teams to ship features end-to-end with high quality and speed.
Senior Full Stack Engineer, AI Systems – Main Requirements
- Strong full stack background: Proven experience delivering production-grade features across both frontend and backend systems.
- Solid system design skills: Strong understanding of API architecture, service design, and scalable data flows.
- AI systems experience: Hands-on experience working with LLMs, RAG systems, or AI-powered applications in production.
- Ambiguity tolerance: Ability to make pragmatic engineering decisions in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements.
- Strong ownership mindset: You take features from idea to production — you don’t hand off, you deliver.
- Agent workflow experience: Comfort designing systems that handle multi-step reasoning, tool use, and graceful failure recovery.
- Shipping bias: Strong inclination toward getting things into production and learning from real-world behavior rather than over-engineering upfront.
- Quality over credentials: We hire for engineering judgment, technical depth, and ownership — not degrees, Big Tech background, or seniority titles.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote, high-trust, fast-paced environment.
