Our partner is a company offering digital solutions, to help governments manage and improve their services. We’re looking for a Test Expert ServiceNow Platform to join a long-term international project (4 years total duration) for the EU’s operational arm for border security – an organization that supports and coordinates national agencies in safeguarding the European Union’s frontiers while upholding European values and fundamental rights.

Location: Warsaw, Poland, Near site work mode
Brief position description
As a Test Expert, you will design, execute, and lead testing activities for complex enterprise software systems, including platforms based on ServiceNow and SharePoint, that support critical EU-level operational processes. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, system architects, software developers, and service desk teams to ensure system reliability, quality, security, and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle. You will actively contribute to testing strategies and quality assurance initiatives, using tools such as Azure DevOps Test Plans, SQL, and ServiceNow testing frameworks, helping to build scalable, testable, and maintainable solutions for one of Europe’s most high-impact digital projects.

Test Expert ServiceNow Platform – Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute testing strategy and plan testing activities for complex systems
- Develop test plans, test cases, and design testing environments
- Implement, execute, and debug manual and automated test cases and scripts
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing
- Validate and document completion of testing activities and development deliverables
- Interpret test results and report on test progress, risks, and issues
- Analyse functional and technical system design for testability, including ServiceNow-based solutions
- Contribute to overall quality assurance within the project
- Document tests and track defects using test management tools
- Monitor test results, analyse system quality, and report on trends and status
- Cooperate closely with analysts, architects, software development, and service desk teams
Test Expert ServiceNow Platform – Main requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT, including 4 years of experience in testing.
- ICT-relevant degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) is obligatory.
- Hands-on experience with the tools they are using: Azure Devops Test Plans, creating SQL queries, testing ServiceNow platform
- Certification: at least one of the following: ISTQB Advanced OR an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential
by the Client) OR 3 additional years of experience in testing above required Minimum experience (without certification it should be 7+ years in testing). - English level: minimum B2, confirmed by certificate (even free online certification).
