Our partner is a company offering digital solutions, to help governments manage and improve their services. We’re looking for a Middle Test Expert to join a long-term international project (4 years total duration) for the EU’s operational arm for border security – an organization that supports and coordinates national agencies in safeguarding the European Union’s frontiers while upholding European values and fundamental rights.

Location: Warsaw, Poland, Near site work mode
Brief position description
As a Test Expert, you’ll design, execute, and lead testing efforts for complex software systems that serve critical operational functions at the EU level. You’ll collaborate closely with analysts, architects, and development teams to ensure system reliability, security, and compliance. You’ll also contribute to initiatives and testing strategies using tools like Azure DevOps Test Plans, SQL and testing ServiceNow platform, helping to build scalable, testable, and maintainable solutions for one of Europe’s most high-impact projects.

Middle Test Expert – Key Responsibilities
- Testing strategy and planning test activities.
- Develops test plan, test cases and designs testing environment.
- Implements, executes and debugs application test cases and scripts.
- Validate and document completion of testing and Development.
- Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues.
- Analyses functional and technical system design for testability.
- Contributes to quality assurance in the project.
- Documents tests and tracks defects.
- Monitors test results, Analyses quality of the system and reports on status and trends.
- Cooperates with analysis, architects of Software Development and service desk teams.
Middle Test Expert – Main requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT, including 4 years of experience in testing.
- ICT-relevant degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) is obligatory.
- Hands-on experience with the tools they are using: Azure Devops Test Plans, creating SQL queries, testing ServiceNow platform
- Certification: at least one of the following: ISTQB Advanced OR an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential
by the Client) OR 3 additional years of experience in testing above required Minimum experience (without certification it should be 7+ years in testing). - English level: minimum B2, confirmed by certificate (even free online certification).
