Senior DevOps Engineer – Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the development and maintenance of our hybrid infrastructure: on-premise and cloud.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to design, implement, and deploy new products and features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, product manager) to identify and address system bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement CI/CD strategies for hybrid environments to support our software development lifecycle.
- Optimize our cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and resilience.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, security, and network issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
Senior DevOps Engineer – Main requirements
- 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years managing on-premise/hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Strong experience with managing on-premise multiregional distributed environments.
- Experience in Linux system administration
- Experience in start-ups or with new product development is highly desired.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and other automation tools like Ansible.
- Experience with AWS services with a focus on smooth scaling, resiliency, cost analysis and optimization.
- Experience with building and maintaining systems from scratch.
- Experience with open source observability tools.
- Experience with managing and scaling PostgreSQL.
- Experience setting up and managing Kubernetes.
- Experience with setting up and managing CI/CD workflows.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in hybrid environments.
- Independent, proactive, and excited to work in a startup environment.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with proxy networks.
- Familiarity with ClickHouse.
- Familiarity with managing OpenTelemetry-based observability systems.
- Contributions to open source or personal technical blogs/projects
