Our partner is a company offering digital solutions that help governments manage and improve their services. We’re looking for a Configuration/Deployment Specialist (Sharepoint) to join a long-term international project (4 years total duration) for the EU’s operational arm for border security – an organization that supports and coordinates national agencies in safeguarding the European Union’s external frontiers while upholding European values and fundamental rights.

Location: Warsaw, Poland, Near-site work mode (mostly remote, with occasional visits in the office)
Brief position description
This role focuses on ensuring smooth build, integration, and deployment processes across both backend systems and end-user devices. You will play a key part in managing system environments, supporting testing activities, and maintaining the health and performance of SharePoint-based solutions. Close collaboration with ICT teams, project stakeholders, and external vendors is essential, as is hands-on involvement in Azure-based development environments.

Configuration/Deployment Specialist (Sharepoint) – Key Responsibilities
- Support ICT team in application build, integration and deployment – both backend and client devices (mobile, PC).
- Support ICT team in system environment management and configuration.
- Support project team in system tests.
- Monitor and analyse functioning of system on daily basis.
- Monitor system performance and health.
- Report and coordinate technical issues related to system environments.
- Coordinate and communicate with system vendor/contractor regarding all technical issues.
- Providing support to ICT staff and project teams in deployment of development environment in Azure.
Configuration/Deployment Specialist (Sharepoint) – Main requirements
- 8+ years of experience in IT industry, including 5+ years with Sharepoint and Sharepoint platform-specific tools.
- Good knowledge of software deployment management and release management.
- Knowledge of RUP and/or AGILE methodologies.
- Knowledge of application servers, building and deployment tools (e.g., Ant, Azure Pipelines), development tools, RDBMS.
- Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT.
- English level: minimum B2, confirmed by certificate (including free online certificate).
