Our partner is an international organization delivering large-scale digital solutions for EU institutions. We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to join a long-term international project (up to 4 years total duration) supporting the design, evolution, and maintenance of SharePoint-based and enterprise IT systems used at EU level. This role focuses on business analysis, software functionality design, system modelling, and close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

Brief position description
As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing business processes and requirements, designing software functionality, and modelling system solutions across the full software development lifecycle. You will translate business needs into structured system designs, including use cases, workflows, data models, and acceptance criteria. You will work closely with product owners, UX/UI specialists, developers, testers, and business stakeholders, ensuring that solutions are well-designed, documented, and aligned with both business and technical requirements.

Systems Analyst – Key Responsibilities
- Analysing business processes, capabilities, requirements, and user stories
- Designing software functionality for new and existing IT solutions
- Modelling and documenting logical data models, system roles, use cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria
- Managing non-functional requirements
- Identifying and evaluating options for potential technical solutions
- Maintaining system and design models throughout the system lifecycle
- Cooperating with UX/UI specialists in preparation of UI prototypes, forms, and controls
- Presenting and explaining software designs to business experts, product owners, developers, and testers
- Supporting product owners in preparation of development tasks
- Preparing system documentation, presentations, and training materials for business users
- Supporting testing, development, quality assurance, and change management activities
Systems Analyst – Main requirements
- Minimum 8 years of IT industry experience, including 5 years of experience in system analysis or a similar role
- ICT-relevant degree is NOT mandatory
- Experience across at least one full software development lifecycle
- Mastery of SharePoint and SharePoint platform-specific tools
- Expert-level skills in analysing business processes, capabilities, requirements, and user stories
- Strong knowledge of software functionality design and UML modelling
- Ability to define system roles, use cases, workflows, system rules, logical data models, UI forms, and controls
- Solid understanding of system development methodologies
- Proficiency with system modelling tools (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Certification: at least one of the following: Certified UML Professional (Intermediate level), OR an equivalent internationally recognized certification (subject to acceptance by the Client)
- English level: minimum C1, confirmed by certificate (even free online certification).
