Itentio IT Recruitment

We are partnered with a rapidly growing UK-based fintech company building next-generation digital solutions for trade and supply chain finance. Their mission is to close the global trade finance gap by enabling mid-market businesses in emerging markets to access transparent, secure, and efficient cross-border funding. They are now seeking a Technical Project Manager / Product Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of product initiatives, customer implementations, and technical integrations.

Whom are we looking for – Product Delivery Manager

Location: Remote (Europe)

About the Company and the Position

Our client is a UK-based fintech company working at the core of open account trade finance and Supply Chain Finance. They build a platform that enables banks and NBFIs to manage multiple financing products in one system, automate manual processes, and create custom products and workflows for their own clients. Alongside the technology, they provide capital and domain expertise, working closely with financial institutions, corporates, and funders across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and other emerging markets.

We are looking for an experienced and technically capable Technical Project Manager / Product Delivery Manager to sit between Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Customer Success, and external financial partners. You will turn agreed priorities and complex requirements into realistic delivery plans, development-ready specifications, and successful releases. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role combining technical project management, Agile delivery, business analysis, and customer implementation coordination. You will be expected to challenge unclear requirements and unrealistic commitments, identify risks early, remove blockers, and drive delivery from discovery through development, testing, deployment, and operational handover.

Why is it worth joining this company?

  • Work on a real product powering high-value cross-border financial operations, with direct influence on delivery and product decisions.
  • Take ownership of complex product initiatives, banking integrations, and customer implementations.
  • Join a startup with a clear mission, strong market traction, and a global customer base.
  • Work closely with senior Product and Technology leadership in a role where your judgment and initiative matter.
  • Benefit from a culture that values curiosity, autonomy, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Product Delivery Manager – Key Responsibilities

  • Technical project management and delivery: Take end-to-end ownership of planning and delivering product initiatives, customer implementations, and technical integrations. Create and maintain delivery plans covering scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resources, risks, and accountable owners. Track progress against commitments and provide clear, practical status updates to stakeholders.
  • Agile and Scrum delivery: Coordinate day-to-day delivery across assigned Scrum teams. Lead stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Plan sprints around product priorities, team capacity, availability, and dependencies. Maintain a well-organised Jira backlog with clearly defined, estimated, development-ready tickets.
  • Business analysis and requirements management: Gather, analyse, and refine product, business, and customer requirements. Translate high-level needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, process flows, and supporting documentation. Identify gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and risks before development begins.
  • Technical integrations and customer implementations: Coordinate the technical delivery of integrations with banks, customers, and third-party systems. Work with internal and external stakeholders to clarify API specifications, data flows, authentication, environments, test data, technical prerequisites, timelines, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria.
  • Testing, releases, and deployment coordination: Coordinate testing across Engineering, QA, DevOps, and customer teams. Support UAT preparation, defect tracking, issue resolution, and sign-off. Ensure release readiness, including dependencies, approvals, deployment requirements, rollback considerations, customer communication, and operational handover.
  • Risk management and continuous improvement: Proactively identify delivery risks, technical blockers, resource constraints, and potential delays. Drive mitigation plans and escalate decisions where needed. Improve delivery processes, documentation, reporting, and team coordination without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. Use AI tools and automation responsibly to improve planning, analysis, reporting, and routine delivery work.

Product Delivery Manager – Main requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technical project management, software delivery, product delivery, or a closely related role.
  • Experience working in fintech or banking is mandatory; experience delivering enterprise software for financial institutions is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end software delivery, from requirements and planning through development, testing, production release, and handover.
  • Strong technical understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, system integrations, databases, authentication, asynchronous processing, and deployment environments.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with engineers and technical leads, challenge estimates, identify missing dependencies, and make delivery trade-offs visible. Hands-on coding is not required.
  • Practical experience managing Agile/Scrum teams and running Scrum ceremonies.
  • Strong business-analysis skills, including producing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and process flows.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams, cross-team dependencies, competing priorities, and changes in scope.
  • Experience coordinating technical integrations, customer implementations, UAT, and production releases.
  • Strong Jira and Confluence skills, including project planning, backlog management, delivery tracking, and documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, analytical problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently, taking ownership, challenging assumptions, and driving actions through to completion.
  • Confident using modern AI tools and automation to improve day-to-day effectiveness.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Supply Chain Finance, receivables finance, trade finance, lending, or other banking products.
  • Experience delivering B2B SaaS products used by banks, NBFIs, or other financial institutions.
  • Experience with banking integrations, payment platforms, core banking systems, SWIFT/SEPA, open banking, ERP systems, or other enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with financial workflows, payments, accounting, reconciliation, or lending operations.
  • Experience coordinating deployments into bank-managed, on-premise, or restricted-cloud environments.
  • Previous experience combining technical project management with business analysis or product delivery responsibilities.

Product Delivery Manager – What is in it for you?

  • Competitive salary: 4000 – 5500 USD/month on B2B contract.
  • 30 days of paid vacations per year.
  • Unlimited paid sick leave (used responsibly).
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 100% remote setup.
  • Budget for courses, conferences, and self-development.
  • Opportunity to receive work devices if needed.
