Location: EU or Ukraine (100% remotely).
Brief position description
We are seeking a skilled FullStack NodeJS Developer to join an innovative MedTech startup that is transforming the treatment of urological diseases through real-time monitoring and personalized care. You will play a key role in backend development on Node.js, API integration, and cross-platform mobile applications using the Ionic Framework with React. This role is ideal for someone passionate about healthcare technology, fullstack (with focus on backend) development, and cross-platform tools – ready to contribute to a product that significantly improves patient outcomes and reduces invasive procedures.

FullStack NodeJS Developer – Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and PostgreSQL.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support both mobile and web-based client applications.
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications using the Ionic Framework with React.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software design and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git, Jira, or Trello for effective project tracking and task management.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and improve software quality through testing and performance tuning.
FullStack NodeJS Developer – Main requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
- Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL and relational database systems.
- Experience in building and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with React and ideally Ionic Framework for hybrid mobile app development.
- Comfortable with Git flow, version control, CI/CD tools, and Agile development processes.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Desired Attributes:
- Prior experience in healthtech, medical, or regulated industries is a plus.
