Itentio IT Recruitment
Our partner is a fast-growing US-based entertainment and hospitality company operating a network of premium venues across the country and expanding internationally. As they scale their operations and technology organization, they are looking for a Business Systems Manager to own the systems that keep their venues running — reliably, efficiently, and at scale.
Whom are we looking for – Director of Program Management
Location: Poland or Eastern Europe, remote-friendly
About the Role
This is a high-impact delivery and coordination role sitting at the center of both the consumer product team and the business systems/IT team. You will be the single intake point for all incoming work, the single source of truth for what is being delivered and when, and the person who makes senior leadership’s time count. You drive delivery through influence, process, and clear communication — not through line management or technical decision-making. If you thrive on bringing order to complexity and making execution predictable across multiple workstreams, this role was built for you.
This is an ownership role, not a people management role. The Director of Program Management owns the work, not the teams – you will not line-manage product or systems staff. You coordinate and drive execution through influence, partnering closely with the Business Systems Manager and product leads on delivery details, while owning scope and timing decisions.
Director of Program Management – Key Responsibilities
Intake & Prioritization
- Be the single intake point for requests across product and business systems — franchisee rollouts, new venue openings, product initiatives, and operational changes.
- Triage, sequence, and align requests to available capacity; make trade-offs visible and bring the hard prioritization calls to the CTO with options.
Delivery & Execution
- Run the delivery cadence – planning, standups, roadmap and milestone reviews – across both teams.
- Track milestones, dependencies, and risks; unblock work and keep commitments on schedule.
Portfolio Visibility & Communication
- Maintain one portfolio view across product and enterprise, with clear status reporting to leadership.
- Manage stakeholder and franchisee expectations on scope and timing; communicate proactively.
Process & Tooling
- Own lightweight project tooling (e.g., Linear, Asana, or similar) and just-enough process; improve it continuously without adding bureaucracy.
Director of Program Management – Main Requirements
- 6–10+ years in technical program / project / delivery management.
- Experience spanning both product and operational / IT workstreams.
- Multi-location or franchise rollout experience; strong with PM tooling and agile / portfolio practices.
- Exceptional communicator; comfortable driving outcomes through influence rather than authority.
Nice to have:
- Experience working within a franchise or multi-venue business model
- Background in scaling technology operations across international markets
- Familiarity with tools such as Linear or Asana in a fast-paced delivery environment
What Success Looks Like (12–18 Months)
- Delivery is predictable and commitments are met – or renegotiated early with clear rationale
- A single, trusted source of truth exists for priorities and status across the entire CTO organization
- Escalations to the CTO for routine prioritization decisions drop significantly
- Franchisee and new venue rollouts consistently land on time
Director of Program Management – What is in it for you?
- Excellent salary remuneration – between 7000 and 10000 USD on B2B contract;
- 15 days of paid vacations on B2B;
- Paid Polish holidays on B2B!;
- Flexible working hours;
- Work-life balance – no work during late evenings and nights.
- Remote-first environment -> opportunity to work remotely 100%.
