Brief position description
The Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and optionally Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role also includes support for Microsoft 365, Intune, Atlassian tools, and automation technologies. You will administer Windows and Linux servers, troubleshoot complex networking issues, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to cloud migration and automation projects. This is a hands-on role in a structured yet innovative environment, with opportunities to improve cloud architecture, security, and operational efficiency for a modern neobank.

Cloud Engineer – Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and optionally OCI.
- Manage Microsoft 365 environment and configure Microsoft Intune for endpoint security and compliance.
- Support and administer Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to enhance team collaboration.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
- Administer Windows Server and Linux Server environments in hybrid and cloud architectures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve networking and cloud infrastructure issues (VPCs, subnets, VPNs, firewalls).
- Collaborate with security teams on IAM, compliance, and regulatory policies.
- Contribute to cloud migration projects, automation of deployment, and monitoring pipelines.
- Maintain documentation and best practices for cloud operations and disaster recovery.
Cloud Engineer – Main requirements
- Proven experience managing AWS and Azure cloud platforms; OCI experience will be a huge plus.
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Solid skills in Windows Server and Linux server administration.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services and Intune.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for workflow management.
- Good networking knowledge: DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, routing, cloud network architecture.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex cloud environments.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Relevant cloud certifications a plus.
- Experience within a financial institution or credit services is advantageous.
