AI Engineer – Key Responsibilities
- Define an AI architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with product goals and engineering best practices
- Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and quality assurance processes
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into the product ecosystem
- Ensure that technical decisions align with the budget, long-term vision, and business constraints
- Establish architectural quality criteria, metrics, and documentation.
- Promote the reuse of existing solutions and evaluate third-party tools when appropriate
- Apply MLOps practices for deployment, performance monitoring, and version control
- Stay up to date with AI trends, drive R&D initiatives, and represent the project’s AI direction
- Own product delivery from first prototype to stable production
AI Engineer – Main requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with AI experience
- Proven experience with AI/ML systems, particularly in Generative AI (LLMs, text generation, agentic systems, text-to-API flows)
- Deep knowledge of Python, and ML frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, HuggingFace)
- Strong understanding of software design principles, the architecture lifecycle, and scalable distributed systems
- Familiarity with GCP
- Familiarity with MLOps practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
- Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher
AI Engineer – What is in it for you?
