Whom are we looking for – Aerospace Mechanical Engineer
Location: Kraków, Poland (on-site work, no remote option due to specifics of the product).
Brief position description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in aerospace and UAV design. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in drone or UAV development, and will be proficient in various aspects of mechanical engineering related to flight systems.

Aerospace Mechanical Engineer – Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for UAVs, focusing on aerodynamic efficiency and structural integrity.
- Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analyses to optimize aerodynamic performance.
- Perform structural finite element method (FEM) analyses to ensure durability and compliance with safety standards.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for manufacturing purposes.
- Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring that components are produced to specification and quality standards.
- Develop test plans and procedures to validate the performance and reliability of UAV systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electronic and software components.
Aerospace Mechanical Engineer – Main requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace or UAV mechanical design.
- Proficiency in aerodynamic principles and CFD analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of flight mechanics and structural analysis.
- Experience with metal and composite material structures.
- Skilled in structural FEM analysis and vibration analysis.
- Expert in 3D CAD design software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Expert with 3D printing technologies
- Experience plastic injection molding processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
