Whom are we looking for – DevOps Engineer (GCP)

Location: Poland (100% remotely).

Brief position description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment (primarily, GCP, with a bit of AWS). You will collaborate with several development teams across various projects, ensuring efficient, scalable, and secure operations. The company’s projects’ expertise spans in industries like finance, healthcare, and regulatory sectors, helping companies streamline operations, enhance performance, and innovate through modern tech strategies

DevOps Engineer (GCP) – Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and optimization of Infrastructure Components in a multi cloud environment (Networks, VM’s, Databases, Kubernetes, etc.) (mainly GCP 80%, also a bit of AWS, Azure);
  • Implementing and optimization of Deployment pipelines CI/CD;
  • Implementing and optimization of Monitoring and Alerting for the Infrastructure;
  • Monitoring the system environment and ensuring efficient and proper operation;
  • Development and refinement of standards and best practices;
  • Development and maintenance of process and system documentation;
  • Collaboration with clients, project partners, development team and other stakeholders.

DevOps Engineer (GCP) – Main requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps engineer;
  • Extensive experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab, SQL, Linux, and Bash.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • A customer-centric and service-oriented mindset;
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional teams;
  • Upper intermediate English (B2).

Nice to have:

  • GCP or any other cloud certification.
